The Cripples: Culture
Second full-length on Dirtnap from Seattle’s The Cripples, “Culture” builds on the Cripples trademark fuzzy analog bleeps and garage rock beats. This time they throw in a mix of Fall-ish guitar post punk, geeky Wire-influenced garage, all thrown into their Devo/ Add N to (X) new wave trash compactor. The Cripples have been around for almost 10 years at this point – if you live in the Northwest, you have probably seen them playing with bands like The Briefs, The Epoxies, The Spits, or The A Frames.
