The Cripples

Second full-length on Dirtnap from Seattle's the Cripples, "Culture" builds on the Cripples trademark fuzzy
analog bleeps and garage rock beats - - Spazzy Screamers-inspired riffs abound - the Cripples deep fry
their keytar synths and pull out crispy pop coated synth rush.

This time they throw in a mix of Fall-ish guitar postpunk, geeky Wire-influenced garage (a la their 1998
SmartGuy "SO TIRED" EP)... All of which gets thrown into their Devo/Add N to (X) new wave trash
compactor.

Percussive synths, sick analog riffs, and their undeniable garage energy dominate an album that proclaims
that there's "too much culture, not enough of what you want."
