Starting off a kick ass melodic hardcore band in the RANCID/ANTI FLAG vein, (a bit of a departure for Dirtnap, this would be right at home on BYO or TKO), this new 5 song Hollow Points CD-EP (was originally supposed to be a 7", but all 5 songs were so great, we couldn't pick our favorite 2!), sees a stripped down version of the band going in a slightly darker, more hard-edged direction. The political sing-alongs of their first CD are slowly being replaced by more personal, pessimistic blasts of leaner, meaner razor-sharp punk. Things are happening fast for The Hollow Points. Starting off as high school kids in Port Orchard, WA. just a couple of years ago, the band has weathered a move to Seattle, a name change, some line-up changes, record label drama, relentless touring with the likes of The Briefs and The Amazombies (Go Kart Records), released a classic debut CD on Pop Militia Records, as well as a spot on the Dirtnap Across The NW comp.
