The Sentimentalist reviews Th' Shack*Shakers "Swampblood"
If I was ever in a cemetery in the middle of Kentucky during an invasive tornado, I would imagine Th' Shack*Shakers would be playing. This spooky country rock group has returned with another titillating album exploring the South with a dirty old harmonica and a rolling banjo. This record is the final installment of the band's "Tentshow Trilogy" and they make sure to chill every bone to its core with tastes of the blues and gothic echoes, while always reverting back to their American heartland roots.
