Powerhouse Records is proud to offer another classic release in our "Guitarchives" series; a re-issue by the Legendary Danny Gatton. "Unfinished Business" was first released in 1987 for NRG Records and was Danny's last studio album before signing with Elektra Records. The album is typical Danny Gatton; an eclectic mix of Roadhouse/Honky Tonk, Blazing Country, Twangin' Instrumentals, Blues, Classic Swing Jazz, 50's R&B, and timeless Ballads. In the mix of Gatton originals and Standards are two bonus cuts: "Nit Pickin'" (which was a Guitar Player Magazine soundpage from 1989, and did much to bring Danny's phenomenal Guitar playing to a wider International audience), and a previously un-released version of "Quiet Village" (from Danny's Major label debut album "88 Elmira St" in 1991on Elektra Records) recorded in 1975. The album has been-re-mastered with a fat, shimmering sound perfectly suited to Gatton’s sparkling twang.
