Supersuckers; A Note From Eddie Spaghetti, New Items in the Store, Tour Dates, and Web Site Talk!

well - happy motherfuckin' new year to you all! eddie spaghetti here with a little note to let you know what we've been up to and what we're planning at the moment. let's see here...
we did a new years eve show at slim's in s.f. and we sold the motherfucker out before the doors even opened! it was extra kick-ass because we did one of those crazy e-bay auctions to come to the show, see soundcheck, hang out, etc..., and through that we got to meet Stephanie and Dean (the contest winners who got married that very day - congratulations!), and we got to put some more money into the WM3 defense fund. we also recorded the show for what we hope will be a live rock record in the near future (we haven't heard the tapes yet - cross your fingers!). it went so well in fact that we're coming back to san fransisco on feb. 14th, i believe.
right after the new year we put the finishing touches (of evil) on "motherfuckers be trippin'" and held a listening party here in seattle. we invited a bunch of people from the fan-club to come on down and get a first taste of the new record. we got 'em all boozed up on free beer and then basked in their praise of the new songs. the benefits of being in the fan-club - if you feel left out, you should. so sign up now before you miss out on more free beer!
speaking of selling shit, we've got the new version of the web-site up and running (thank you mr. moo!) and, due to popular demand, we've got some brand new 7", colored vinyl singles in the "mall" and (speaking of beer) some pretty cool pint glasses in there as well. i think the glasses are the first thing to say the title of the new rcord on them, so be the first on your block to...blah, blah, blah...
i can't wait for you to get the new record, we've never worked harder on anything and i've never been this pleased and, - all right i'll say it - downright proud of the results. and the fact that we're putting this thing out on our own makes your participation in the whole process that much more vital. vote with your dollars people, don't settle for cut rate, imitation crab meat when you can get the real thing!
so the forcast for 2003 is ROCK, and lots of it my friends. sure, there's gonna be the occasional country show or solo acoustic show (like the one i'm doing in seattle at the sunset tavern on feb. 11), but for the most part it's time to put on your clean underwear and "grab a drink and chug-a-lug, have some sex and take some drugs"!
we'll see you out there in the "trenches" this year. come on out and be somebody!
