Having toured with Swedish heavyweights The Hives, and American indie-psych-pop faves Apples in Stereo, Oslo-based Jessica Fletchers are now set to storm the North American pop scene with their great new record, “Less Sophistication”. Think Hunky-Dory era David Bowie backed by the B-52’s; and, less obviously, Miles Davis, The Stone Roses, The Tables and Primal Scream. The Jessica Fletchers' astounding live attack recently blew the roof off the house at CMJ & SXSW. They will be touring North America this summer and look to go to commercial radio with the powerful single “Summer Holiday and Me”. The Jessica Fetchers will be supported with a heavy press, radio and video campaign. The Herald & Review writes, "This Oslo band takes the best of my favorite musical era - mid-1960s England- and stirs up a mix of insanely great tunes. This might strike some as retro. For me, it's as fresh as it was 40 years ago." Classic Rock Magazine praises, "The Jessica Fletchers present an alarmingly accurate mix-and-match take on Carnaby Street sounds, displaying transparent fandom and acute ear for tunes and textures." And Delusions of Adequacy notes, "They earned their street cred opening for Apples in Stereo, and, like the Apples, they’ve got pure pop down to a science." Standard Jewel Case.
