Orange Alabaster Mushroom: Space & Time: A Compendium
Based in Kingston, Ontario, between Ottawa and Toronto, on the NY border, Orange Alabaster Mushroom is led by psych-garage songwriter Gregory Watson. Influenced by Syd Barrett, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Dukes Of Stratosfear, The Soft Boys and 13th Floor Elevators, The Orange Alabaster Mushroom specialize in 60s-inflected psych-pop alchemy. Gregory was previously a member of The Fiends, and Space & Time collects singles, b-sides, compilation tracks, rarities and some odds and ends originally released on Earworm Records. Most songs are out of print, and available on CD here for the first time.
