In Pursuit of Your Happiness is Mark Mulcahy’s 3rd solo record. His previous solo albums (Fathering and Smilesunset) have found favor with everyone from Thom Yorke (“the greatest voice I’ve ever heard”) to Colin Firth. Nick Hornby included Mulcahy’s “Hey Self Defeater” in a book of 31 Songs. Mark was formerly the singer in Miracle Legion. He was also the leader of Polaris, the band that wrote the music for the hit Nickelodeon show “The Adventures of Pete & Pete.” In Pursuit of Your Happiness was recorded with long time collaborator Myles Mangino and also features guest turns by Ken Maiuri, J.Mascis, Alex Johnson and Joey Santiago. The enhanced CD features a film short (’Pigs in Pursuit’) by Zeke Fiddler. The artwork features photos by Fiddler and also includes the game “In Pursuit of Your Happiness.”
