USA Today calls Nick Lowe's At My Age "urbane and witty."
Nick Lowe knew the bride when she used to rock 'n' roll, and, after what seems like a lifetime later, she's probably on her second or third marriage by now. If she has slowed down a bit but still likes a little groove, Lowe's new album should be right up her alley. A smart combination of originals and remakes of obscure oldies (such as The Uniques' 1965 "Not Too Long Ago"), its best stuff sounds like those old, adult-oriented Nashville Sound records - urbane and witty, with touches of country, R&B and jazzy pop.
