The City of Carbondale, IL proclaims August 14, 2004 JASON RINGENBERG/FARMER JASON DAY! During a sold out show at the Longbranch Cafe, city councilman Chris Wisseman presented Jason with a proclamation signed by mayor Brad Cole. The proclamation cites Jason's music achievements, notes that he started his musical career with the bands Shakespeare's Riot and The Catalinas while a student at SIU in Carbondale, and states that he has become arguably one of the most important living country musicians.
