It's official! The exclusive "after party" for the big LOS STRAITJACKETS / BIG SANDY show will be happening at the lush BAB'S UNDERGROUND LOUNGE in downtown Ann Arbor, MI.

As you probably already know, Ark shows begin early and usually end early, too. No exception here with this Thursday nite LOS STRAITJACKETS / BIG SANDY concert, so we've decided to keep the party rocking just a bit longer with a FREE post-show bash at a friendly, close-by bar.

Although it's still a week/work night, we figure that most people won't want to go home at 10:00 pm.. We've arranged with the nice folks at nearby BAB's (about 1 block walking distance from the back of the Ark) to have have some great music, cool atmosphere and cheap drinks on hand for us all. Even if you do have to go home rather quickly, BAB'S UNDERGROUND is so close, you can easily pop in for a quick hello, a brief drink and fast chat with your friends after the show.

Located literally just a few walking blocks from the world famous roots rock venue THE ARK, come over to BAB'S to hang with your amigos after the concert, enjoy some fine mixed beverages and fun drink specials ($3.00 Corona & Negro Modelo!) in a comfy, casual and cool setting. With red felt pool tables, ample table seating and a gorgeous, well staffed bar, how can you not have an awesome time? Adding to the festive "fiesta" atmosphere will be your host for the night, Ann Arbor's own DJ DEL VILLARREAL, spinning a spicy mix of Mexican-themed vintage 50's & 60's rock n' roll, doo wop, rockabilly and Rn'B. BONUS! There will be YEP-ROC RECORDS CD give-aways and both BIG SANDY and EDDIE ANGEL have promised to be over directly after their ARK show to visit with fans and sign merchandise. Bab's Lounge is EXTREMELY NICE and I really truly mean it: great bartenders, friendly staff, reasonable drink prices and an atmosphere that can't be beat. Please join us for what will surely be a great finale to a fantastic night of rockin' Mexi-music!!
