Los Straitjackets, America's favorite masked Latino instrumentalists, will release their first Spanish language album on April 3 via Yep Roc.

Rock En Espanol, Vol. 1 features guest vocals from Little Willie G. of Thee Midniters, Fly-Rite Boys frontman Big Sandy and Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos, who also produced the record.

Most of the album's 14 songs were originally Top 40 hits in the U.S. by such legends as The Kinks, The Troggs and Jackie Wilson but were later recorded in Spanish language versions by mid-'60s Mexican rock 'n' roll bands like Los Yaki, Los Freddys, Los Apson, Los Rockin' Devils, Los Teen Tops, Los Locos Del Ritmo, and Rebeldes De Rock.

Los Straitjackets will perform selections from Rock En Espanol at South By Southwest in March and along the East Coast on their ensuing spring tour.
