Kristin Hersh and Dolorean kick off national tour April 19

On April 19, post-punk pioneer and solo artist Kristin Hersh and Portland’s Dolorean will embark on a national tour featuring performances in Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles.

This past January, Kristin Hersh started a new chapter in her prolific career when Yep Roc Records released her acclaimed label debut, Learn to Sing Like a Star. NPR recently said, "...Kristin Hersh continues to churn out dramatic, powerful solo work at an impressive clip.” With 21 records to her credit, Hersh has put out eight solo releases, 10 with Throwing Muses, which she founded at age 14, and three with her punk rock band 50FootWave.
Rolling Stone says Dolorean's front man and musical architect Al James, "...has melancholy ballads in spades...he injects them with a subtle humor reminiscent of master songwriters..." Out now on Yep Roc Records, Dolorean’s latest release You Can't Win is hailed by The New York Times as "...hazy-beautiful..." and Harp Magazine writes, "The band's fourth record is its finest..." In 2000, Dolorean self-released their first collection of songs, Sudden Oak and went on to release their 2003 effort Not Exotic and 2004's acclaimed Violence in the Snowy Fields on Yep Roc.
