The Rev's '50 Ford Included in Museum Exhibit
Jim Heath will participate in a major exhibition at the Petersen Automobile Museum in Los Angeles, Cal.
Jim is being included in an exhibit entitled "Encore! Cars & Guitars of Rock 'n Roll II", hosted by Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. To be included in this exhibit is quite an honor for Jim, whose 1950 Ford Custom Coupe (aka REVEREND HORTON HEAT'S BIG BLUE CAR) and Gretsch White Falcon guitar are now on display on the second floor of the Petersen in the Grand Salon. Other artists' automobiles represented include Elvis Presley's 1971 Pantera, The Beach Boy's "Little Deuce Coupe", Elton John's 1949 Delahaye, ZZ Top's 1948 CadZZilla, Chris Isaak's 1964 Nova, Marilyn Manson's custom Lincoln, David Lee Roth's '32 Ford, and the KISS Prowler. A private gala hosted by Jay Leno and Billy Gibbons is scheduled. Click the link below to see photos of the rockin' rides. Rockin' rides. Man. Now that's some tight writing. |
