The High Dials: A New Devotion
![]()
The High Dials made quite a splash in guitar pop circles with their album "See!"--an original melodic amalgam of early Who and Elvis Costello--however, their newly recorded album "A New Devotion" totally tops their earlier work. "A New Devotion" is a brilliant record of jangle, psychedelia and colorful melody, sounding not unlike a psychedelisized Squeeze backed by The Clash. Hailing from Montreal, The High Dials and their fantastic song structure would surely make the guys in Teardrop Explodes and Echo and The Bunnyman gush with pride. Standard Jewel Case/Box Lot-50
