Homesick is the third album from reverb-drenched alt-country combo Tractor Kings, led by Jacob Fleischli, who evokes both Lou Reed and Bob Dylan in myriad ways. His new band backs him with a rootsy but grand atmospheric sound, think "rural cathedral", thanks in part to an evangelical pedal steel.
