Sukilove's 2002 debut “Talking In the Dark” was Sukilove "playing acoustic music very loudly" while Sukilove's self-titled full-length released in 2003 was promise fulfilled if not the proverbial veiled threat. A bit deeper and darker, Sukilove found the band rocking out, but in a very delicate way. For Sukilove's third album, “You Kill Me”, Pascal and his band are once again crafting impassioned pop songs while wheeling their amplifiers over to the grungier side of the nightclub. ”You Kill Me” was recorded in studios in the Netherlands and the US, produced by John Morand (Sparklehorse, Labradford, Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven, etc.). Dense production, a wall of sound, and Pascal's wonderful songwriting and acute wit prove "You Kill Me" to be a stunning album. Lithe pop, swaggering soul and livid rock songs, complex in ways that rock bands usually aren't. For fans of: The Webb Bros., Paul McCartney & Wings, Alex Chilton, Nicolai Dunger, and Ed Harcourt. Standard Jewel Case.
