Chatham County Line plays hit UK TV show Later with Jools Holland, returns from triumphant European tour

New traditionalists Chatham County Line returned last week from another wildly successful European tour, performed on Bob Harris' influential BBC Radio 2 show and played the hugely popular BBC television program Later with Jools Holland.

In continuing support of their new album IV, the band toured Norway and the UK in May culminating with a stunning performance on one of the BBC's most popular shows, Later with Jools Holland. They performed the song 'Country Boy, City Boy' off the acclaimed IV. Other artists on this episode included The Raconteurs, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds & Bon Iver.

Sales of IV spiked 850% as a result of the performance, peaking at #21 in all of music on Amazon.co.uk. CCL then went on to record a session for British radio legend Bob Harris' BBC Radio 2 country program.

Another highlight of their trip abroad was performing at the famed Bergenfest in Norway where the band followed a set by all star duo Robyn Hitchcock & John Paul Jones. CCL also was rumored to have jammed late into the night at their hotel with Hitchcock, Jones and Canadian guitar virtuosos Travis and Dallas Good of The Sadies.
