The self-released third disc by Champaign, IL's Velvet Crush, Heavy Changes was released in 1998. Leaders in the power pop scene during the past decade, Velvet Crush are influenced by the likes of Big Star and The Rasberries. Previous releases appeared on Epic Records, and featured collaborators Mitch Easter (Let's Active) and Matthew Sweet. Heavy Changes WAS THE THIRD FULL LENGTH (not including live recordings or singles/b-side collections), and followed two releases on Epic Records.
