Recorded at Chicago's Cabaret Metro in 1995, Action Musik presents The Velvet Crush Live Onstage! Influenced by the likes of Big Star and The Rasberries, the members of Velvet Crush originally met in Champaign, IL and performed under various names, before relocating to Providence, RI in 1988. 1991 saw the release of their Matthew Sweet-produced debut, which was followed by 1994's Teenage Symphonies To God, produced & recorded by Mitch Easter in Winston-Salem, NC. Additional releases followed in 1998 and 1999.
