Yep Roc Records is proud to announce the newest addition to its continually eclectic roster, Texas roots rock band Reckless Kelly. In addition to the signing, Yep Roc is excited to announce the summer 2008 release of Reckless Kelly's forthcoming album entitled, Bulletproof.
Bulletproof was recorded at Willie Nelson's famed Pedernales Studio in Lake Travis, Texas. Notable tracks from the new album will include, "Godforsaken Town," co-written by Robert Earl Keen, about the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, as well as up tempo rockers, "Ragged as the Road I'm On" and "Passin' Through". Reckless Kelly comes into the Yep Roc family following the overwhelming success of the band's live album, Reckless Kelly Was Here. Bulletproof will be the band's first album of new material since their 2005 release, Wicked Twisted Road. |
