REM made a surprise appearance during the encore of a Robyn Hitchcock and the Venus 3 gig in Oxford, UK at the Zodiac. Mike and Michael joined Hitchcock, Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey, and Bill Rieflin onstage for a guitar-only version of "Electrolite", Hitchcock's "Arms of Love", R.E.M. tune "I'm Gonna DJ", and the Byrds' "Eight Miles High."
