Canadian cosmic cowboys the Sadies have added the finishing touches to their latest offering entitled "Favourite Colours," due in stores August 24. The foursome have managed to combine ‘60s country rock and psychedelia, C&W, surf, punk and bluegrass and transform it into their own unique genre. "Favourite Colours" was recorded between the band’s grueling tour schedule at WaveLab in Tucson, The Woodshed in Toronto and Greg Keelor’s (Blue Rodeo) rural Canadian farm. Various friends show up: Robyn Hitchcock as well as members of Calexico, the Elevators and even the band's parents make appearances!
