Redeye Distribution is pleased to announce a new partnership with Canada's beloved indie label, Paper Bag Records. Since it was founded in 2002 in bustling Toronto, Canada, Paper Bag has had an eye for quality indie artists, signing esteemed bands such as Broken Social Scene and Tokyo Police Club. Although it was originally created to represent Toronto- area indie bands, Paper Bag is now is stretching its legs across the country and the world, signing bands as far away as British Columbia (You Say Party! We Say Die!) and Denmark (Sally Shipiro). It's high standards have been recognized in several publications like the Toronto- based NOW Magazine who recognized Paper Bag two years in a row in 2008 and 2009, giving it the title "Best Label." In August 2007, the US publication XLR8R magazine voted Paper Bag #14 for "Best Indie Label".

To say the least, Redeye is very excited to work with the high quality and esteemed artists and catalog that Paper Bag Records represents, and we're happy to help spread its sound to ears across the country.
