Redeye Distribution is excited to announce that it has entered into a worldwide physical and digital distribution deal with x1981x Records. "x1981x is one of the best hardcore labels around, and Redeye is pleased to be able to partner with a company as dedicated to independent music as we are" said Glenn Dicker, co-owner of Redeye Distribution.

x1981x was founded in 2006 and in a short time has become the most recognizable brand of straight edge clothing. The record label was founded to get the word out about the straight edge life style and give young bands a place to spread a positive non-violent message. x1981x co-founder Cliff Wiener said "x1981x is excited to forge a partnership with a distributor that understands a d.i.y. mentality and will let us be ourselves without any over reaching expectations." x1981x co founder Alex Kenny added "We are really focused on getting our music and clothing to all the kids who have been supporting us from all over the world."

Founded in 1996 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Redeye Distribution has grown from a small regional supplier to an international distributor recognized eight times by the National Association of Record Merchandisers (NARM) as the Distributor of the Year (small division).
