Seven years ago Manuel Gutierrez used these words as a basis for the birth of his record label. Cochon Records was created in San Francisco as an outlet to release amazing music made by artists that would normally be overlooked by the mainstream. Twenty-five releases and counting, Cochon Records is still thriving and growing. With the addition of Juan Martin del Campo Jr as co-owner in 2004 Cochon Records has taken its place in the pantheon of up and coming important indie labels.
