Redeye Distribution, located in Haw River, NC, has once again won Distributor of the Year (small division) from The National Association of Record Merchandisers (NARM). This makes it the fifth year in a row and the sixth in the last seven years all together.

Formed in 1996 in Chapel Hill, Redeye has become one of the country's leading distributors of independent music, distributing a diverse roster of artists, including those on their own in-house record labels, Yep Roc Records and Eleven Thirty Records. With artists ranging from Nick Lowe and Robyn Hitchcock to The Pernice Brothers, Public Enemy, Toto, and Mars Volta, and labels such as Gold Standard Labs, Kanine, Flameshove, A-F Records, and Arena Rock, Redeye represents a wide spectrum of international independent music.

The National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) announced the winners of its Merchandiser and Supplier of the Year Awards at the Awards Dinner Finale on Saturday, August 5, during InSights & Sounds.06, NARM's 48th Annual Convention & Marketplace in Kissimmee, Florida.
