Redeye inks deal with Pattern 25 Records
Redeye Distribution is proud to announce the signing of an exclusive distribution deal with Seattle's Pattern 25 Records.
For nearly 6 years, Pattern 25 Records has worked with artists that defy expectations and stretch beyond the conventional boundaries of the current indie rock scene. Last year saw the emergence of the label's flagship band, Smoosh, the pre-teen sister duo who were recently labeled by the UK's New Music Express (NME) as "The hottest new band in the US underground" and have also been featured on MTV2, The Today Show and People Magazine. The label's catalog boasts such artists as" Jon Auer (Singer, songwriter, guitarist for The Posies and Big Star), Robert Roth (singer/songwriter and guitarist for Truly), Sushirobo, Sanford Arms, Spyglass and Graig Markel. Label rep Diana Einmo comments, "Pattern 25 is looking forward to partnering up with Redeye Distribution as we head into a year that will feature the long-awaited debut solo full-length from Jon Auer "Songs from the Year of our Demise" as well as the masterfully diverse debut by organic-techno indie solo artist Head Like a Kite "Random Portraits of the Home Movie". And, of course, Redeye and Pattern 25 will stay busy supporting Smoosh as they continue to gain exposure through further touring and TV appearances." Prior to the move to Redeye, the label had been distributed by Burnside Distribution. |
