DeVotchka was featured on NPR's "All Things Considered" on Feb 17th.
Mikel Jollett of Filter magazine reviews their self-released CD How it Ends. All Things Considered, February 17, 2005 · The musical group Devotchka used to be the backup band to a Denver burlesque show. In addition to guitar and drums, the quartet uses upright bass, glockenspiel, tuba, accordian, trumpet and theramin to achieve an exotic mix of South American rhythms, Eastern European gypsy melodies and North American folk music.
