"10 Songs", originally released in October 2011 through Equal Vision Records is now available as a vinyl release with digital download. Hard-charging, hook-laden post-hardcore somewhere between Fucked Up and a straightforward La Dispute, Ghost Thrower is quick and dirty--forward-thinking, but not flashy. Guitars rumble, charge and flail deliberately while Travis Alexander's over-arching shout spouts calloused desperation. While Alexander can certainly come off self-loathing, his brutal honesty and candidness are largely alluring traits. Musically, it's backed by simply catchy and complexly orchestrated cuts that help qualify Ghost Thrower's debut LP as a bona fide success.
