One of the early New Wave's most accomplished musical outfits, Missing Persons began life, appropriately enough, as a live band. And though one might think that Dale Bozzio's unorthodox vocals (she wished to be an actress, but Frank Zappa enjoyed her hyper-Bostonian accent enough to put her unusual vocal talents to work on several LPs) could not hold up during a live performance, those signature growls, chirps and hiccups were ideally suited to the live venue. Whatever one may think of Dale's vocal talents, former touring guitarist Warren Cuccurullo and now legendary drummer Terry Bozzio (also Zappa alumni, and Dale's then-husband) possessed more than enough experience, and talent, to ground the synth-driven band in solid rock-n-roll virtuosity. Live From The Danger Zone is, digitally remastered, is their first Official Live Record and contains all their MTV Hits and more.
