Rocky Mountain Jam is the newest release from
Little Feat. This album features live songs
recorded at The Boulder Theater in Boulder,
Colorado, including a 21-minute live version of
Dixie Chicken. Here, frontman Paul Barrere has
a bit to say about the new album:
“We have so many great memories of Colorado
and The Rockies. From the way back when
Lowell was still with us and we played on the
football field at C.U. with Leon Russell, and all of
the shows at Ebbitts Field with Tommy Bolen and
Zypher….to the now with all of the fun that we
have had at The Fox and Boulder Theaters
jammin’ with the folks from Leftover Salmon and
String Cheese Incident. It was only a matter of
time that we finally grabbed some live jams for a
release. Here it is, “Rocky Mountain
Jam”…..spread a little on your muffin and get to
rockin’.”
