Little Feat: Kickin' It At The Barn
![]()
2003 marks Little Feat's 14th studio album, "Kickin' It At The Barn"; their first since 2000's "Chinese Work Songs", and their first on Hot Tomato Records. Unlike previous studio albums, "Kickin' It At The Barn" started with "an idea to write songs on acoustic guitar and piano, like the old days before computers and samples, and then let the band interpret the music we brought in," according to frontman, Paul Barrere. "Kickin' It At The Barn" shows a real eclecticism in songs that developed in the making of the record. The record will hit shelves 2 days before the second half of their "Fall Full Band Acoustic Tour," which was inspired by the success of Little Feat's November 2002 record "Live At The Rams Head". After a first listen to "Kickin' It At The Barn" one can tell how well it will translate great in an acoustic setting. "Kickin' It At The Barn" is the studio album that Little Feat and their fans have been wanting to make for years. Standard Jewel Case/ Box Lot-30
