![]()
Four of the greatest blues guitarists of all time. They share the same last name (no releation), but each blazed his own trail of glory in the blues idiom. A great musical study in contrasts.
B.B. King is featured in 5 concert recordings captured between 1975 and 1985 playing some of his best known material. Freddie King was recorded live shortly before his untimely death in 1976. These tracks are from his American and European tours. Earl King is featured in early studio recording with Allen Toussaint and live cuts from the Mardi Gras in 1976. Albert King, like Freddie, was recorded in Europe in the mid-70's- at the height of his fame. Disc One: B.B.
