The Twang: Love It When I Feel Like This
The Twang were formed in Birmingham, England in 2004. The five piece band (featuring two vocalists) started playing local gigs and created a fiercely loyal fan base.
Almost immediately word began to spread throughout the rest of the UK. NME and Q wrote positively about the band, their demos were played on Radio One and major labels started to court the band. Eventually the band settled on the independent B-Unique label (Kaiser Chiefs) to issue their debut album. Titled Love it When I Feel Like This, it made its debut at number 3 in the UK charts and before the end of 2007 each member had a gold record on their wall. |
