Baltimore, Maryland's Lionize have been making genre defying music for the better part of a decade. Through putting out their fair share of EPs and LPs and touring virtually nonstop, Lionize has seen and heard it all. They have toured with acts such as Bad Brains, Clutch, Steel Pulse, CKY and Sublime With Rome. Their newest effort, "Superczar and The Vulture" - their first release on Pentimento Music Co., has Lionize returning to Magpie Cage Recording Studio (Against Me!, The Promise Ring, Murder By Death) with J. Robbins (Jawbox) to track all of the instruments live on 2" tape. With Superczar they have managed to weave the best parts of reggae and heavy 70's influenced riff-laden rock together to create a record that listens very comprehensively.
