"The Second Chance" is the unreleased full show from the famous Second Chance club from Sonic's Rendezvous Band. Sonic's Rendezvous Band was more than just a quartet that rocked hard, although they did THAT with a vengeance. The confluence of Fred "Sonic" Smith's (MC5) spirituality and Scott Ashton's (The Stooges) soulfulness made them much, much more. In more ways than one, this band was THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY. It seems criminal that they never found a wider audience in their day and begs the question, "Why?"
