The New York Times "Popcast" names Reckless Kelly "Artist of the Week"

The New York Times has deemed roots rock rebels Reckless Kelly their "Artist of the Week," featuring the band on the latest edition of the newspaper's "Popcast" online. Click here to listen to Reckless Kelly's Willy Braun discuss his inspiration behind the songs "American Blood" and "Ragged as the Road," both from the band's new album Bulletproof, which Country Standard Time says "is the sound of a great band hitting its stride."

Reckless Kelly will bring their Texas-flavored flair to the Big Apple for the first time in two years when they play the Mercury Lounge Monday night, July 14.

"American Blood" also hit the airwaves last weekend on American Routes during their Independence Day show titled "Red, White and Blues: The Sounds of Patriotic Pluralism."
