3 Na Massa: 3 Na Massa
The self-titled debut of 3 Na Massa is a new project cooked up by members of the Sao Paolo-based production team Instituto and the seminal Pernambuco rock band Nacao Zumbi.
Conceived as a kind of soundtrack to the erotic comic book frames of Italian artist Milo Manara, the musicians attempted to penetrate the female universe by writing songs in the feminine voice. Some of Brazil's best-known singers and actresses lend their voice for each of the album's thirteen songs, including Ceu, Nina Miranda (Smoke City), Thalma de Freitas (Orquestra Imperial), Karine Karvalho (soap opera star) and Alica Braga (City of God). |
