Bell X1 Named Artist To Watch By WXPN

WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in music and non-commercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, names Bell X1 as its March Artist To Watch. WXPN Music Director and Host Dan Reed will present the first of the month’s on-air segments on Monday, March 2 in the 4 p.m. hour, EST.

Already incredibly popular in their homeland of Ireland and critically-acclaimed by alternative music press on both sides of the Atlantic, Bell X1's upcoming album, Blue Lights On The Runway, presents the band's most ambitiously creative and tightly executed work yet. From lush, slowly-building ballads like "How Your Heart Is Wired" to quirky, dance-ready jams like "The Great Defector," (reminiscent of Talking Heads) the band covers the spectrum of modern indie sound, forging their own unique music out of what they find. Called "one of Ireland's greatest bands" by Paste Magazine, the group's new album seems poised to take the band’s popularity and acclaim to new heights.
