Bell X1 jetsets across Europe for high profile summer festivals

Bell X1 announce summer European festival dates and the debut of their new single “Eve, The Apple of My Eye.”

Bell X1 will be racking up the frequent flyer miles this summer when they follow their successful recent U.S. tour with several high profile European festivals.

First on the Irish rockers’ docket is a June 20 set at German uber-fest Hurricane Festival featuring, in addition to Bell X1, The Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Chemical Brothers and Nada Surf. Next it’s further into Germany to the nearby city of Tuttlingen for the Southside Festival on June 21.

Next on the dance card is a trip back home to Ireland on July 11 to play the gigantic Oxegen Fest which sold out in minutes and will also feature R.E.M., Rage Against the Machine, The Raconteurs and Band of Horses as well as many more.

Rounding out the summer is the Pahoda Festival in Slovakia the weekend of July 18. Also appearing are The Streets, The Cribs, Editors and more.

In other BX1 news, second single “Eve, The Apple of My Eye” will hit radio airwaves shortly. U.S. audiences may recognize the tune from its use during a climactic scene on popular drama The O.C. Check out the song here.
