The Cake Sale and Bell X1 vocalist Paul Noonan will be featured on Grey's Anatomy (episode "Crash Into Me - Part One") this Thursday, November 22 at 9pm EST on ABC.

The plaintive, gorgeous "Some Surprise", a duet with Lisa Hannigan (known for her stunning collaborations with Damien Rice), will also be made available on iTunes as a special addition to the luminous Cake Sale project.


The Cake Sale is a concept record featuring an eclectic and inspiring mix of talents collaborating to write and record a nine track CD out now on Yep Roc records. All profits from The Cake Sale go to support the Oxfam charity.


Grey's Anatomy is a tastemaker avenue for music, having previously featured The Postal Service, Tegan and Sara, Rilo Kiley, KT Tunstall, Snow Patrol, Peter Bjorn & John and John Legend.


In addition to Noonan's Cake Sale project, his core band Bell X1 has also enjoyed key placement on television. The O.C. used Bell X1's "Eve, the Apple of My Eye" as the soundtrack for the most talked-about moment in the show's history, the beach kiss between Marissa and Alex.

Bell X1's Flock, to be released February 19 on Yep Roc, marks the band's U.S. debut.
