Originally formed in late 1999 when Raoul (singer of VEIL) and Frank (former MIOZAN bass player, now SOULS ON FIRE) recruited two good friends and talented musicians, Flo (drummer of VEIL) and Mathias (guitarist in UNITED MUTATIONS) to join their hardcore project. I DEFY was primarily seen as a side project since all members were still engaged
in their main bands and busy touring. A year later the band found their home at Reflections Records and released their
first mini CD "First Strike" in 2002. Now, I
DEFY has signed with THORP RECORDS
and will unleash their new full-length "On
The Outside."
