The Vacancy
HEART ATTACK is their debut full-length out now on A-F Records.
Produced by Chris 2 of Anti-Flag.
Fiercely DIY from their inception, The Vacancy have made a solid name for themselves through endless touring and self-promotion. The Vacancy have toured the US with bands such as Anti-Flag, Against Me!, A Static Lullaby, Rise Against, None More Black, & Darkest Hour. While sharing the stage with Boys Night Out, Lamb Of God, Alexisonfire, The Code, Much The Same, Pipedown, Thought Riot, Burning West, Isadora, Breaking Pangaea, and many more.
"The Vacancy is not offering up the standard emo that so many bands today are pumping out assembly-line style. Instead, the band mixes punk rock with classic rock, picking and choosing from various influences to create a pleasing underground yet could-be-radio-friendly sound. The band's CD, "Heart Attack," is polished and mature, but not overproduced and over-controlled. The band is a perfect blend of rock, roll, superb songwriting and everything in between."

"The members of The Vacancy are barely in their 20s. Funny thing is, they don't sound so young. Listen to "Heart Attack," the group's full-length debut album, and its apparent they've been schooled in rock older than their years: the punk sounds of the late 1970s-early 1980s."
- Pittsburgh Tribune Review
"..It is a steady flow of punk fused with rock 'n' roll. You get the urge to pump up the volume and sing along with the infectious melodies about sex, girls, sex, and then more girls once again."
- ThePunkSite.com
"..There's touches of Kurt Cobain creeping in and out of songs like "Majorettes" and "Blue Eyes" both vocally and musically."
