Chapel Hill, NC indie rockers Cities are hitting the road this fall for a three-week jaunt that will hit the East Coast, South and Midwest in support of their new EP of remixes, appropriately titled Variations, which hits shelves on October 3 via Yep Roc. Such notables as Ladytron and Daedelus contributed remixed cuts from the groups self-titled debut LP, released earlier this year on Yep Roc, and the band, whose guitarist Robbie Mackey is also a contributing writer for CMJ, even held a competition that saw newcomer Mike Westwood beat out a host of other entries to be included on the release.
