To those of you potential Voodoo Fest attendees who were disappointed by the news that half the festival would be moved back to New Orleans and made private, we're pleased to announce that American Princes will be playing four shows as a part of a free concert series in Memphis that weekend. Voodoo Fest co-sponsor Southern Comfort (the spiced whisky beverage that soaked the liver of rock-diva Janice Joplin) is hosting four days of live music on and around Beale Street that will be absolutely free.

10/27 at Blues City starting at 8pm
10/28 at Handy Park with emo-grunge rockers Soul Asylum, show begins at 6pm
10/29 at Club 152 starting at 10pm
10/30 at the Tap Room starting at 11pm
