Unfortunately for David and his fans, a complicated label merger led to the album being shelved indefinitely before it could be released. While Wherever You Are lingered in limbo, David moved on creating the beautifully introspective songs that became his third album, Indiana. Now, the songs from Wherever Your Are will finally see the light of day in this special mini-album on Eleven Thirty Records featuring the best moments of the sessions produced by Stephen Hague (New Order, Blur) and mostly mixed by Tchad Blake (Neil Finn, Sheryl Crow).
